Bio

Ethan Zawacki is a trumpet player based in Pittsburgh, PA. As a jazz and commercial musician, Ethan performs extensively in jazz combos, rock groups, with solo artists, and more. He is the bandleader of his own Ethan Zawacki Trio, a trio that plays jazz standards, funk, and more around Pittsburgh. As a classical musician, Ethan frequently plays in orchestras, churches, pit orchestras, chamber groups, and more. A past member of the Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra, Ethan has extensive classical training, having toured in Portugal playing pieces such as Shostakovich 5 and William Tell Overture. He is also an experienced private instructor. Ethan is currently pursuing a degree in Commercial Music from Seton Hill University. His teachers include Dr. Ted Disanti, Clint Bleil, Tom Glovier, and Jay Villella.
